Motivation: 

The objective was to analyze, monitor and redesign the physical distribution of money in Switzerland. Thereby, a huge number of constraints had to be taken into account (geographical, economical and legal aspects).

The following activities are already completed:

• Mapping the current situation of the distribution logistics - focus on organizational aspects and the IT-support
• Identification and documentation of the main processes
• Revealing the potentials by redesigning core business processes
• These results were the basis for further decisions in the area of new IT-support and organizational changes.
